On Sept.
20, Northwestern University's Cahn Auditorium was transformed
into a television studio as Kellogg and A.T. Kearney hosted
CEO Exchange, PBS's popular business program. Moderated by
CNN's Jeff Greenfield, the show featured candid interviews
with two prominent corporate leaders: Washington Redskins
owner Daniel Snyder and Mark Cuban, founder of Broadcast.com
and the owner of the Dallas Mavericks. About 1,000 people
attended the event, which was taped by Chicago's Public Television
affiliate WTTW for broadcast in Jan. 2001. Before taping began,
an often-humorous Greenfield told the enthusiastic audience
that no other school had demonstrated more interest in CEO
Exchange. "You have outdone every other university where
wešve brought the show," said Greenfield, who also entertained
political questions from audience members while waiting for
the guests to appear on stage.
