Leading
Thai company SCG a Kellogg partner
In
December, Kellogg School Dean Dipak
C. Jain and colleagues traveled to Bangkok, Thailand.
In addition to Dean Jain teaching at the Sasin Graduate Institute
of Business Administration, with which Kellogg has a longstanding
partnership, he met with senior business leaders. Among these
were executives from Siam Cement Group (SCG), one of Thailand's
largest conglomerates. SCG has six business units composed
of more than 100 companies. Founded in 1913 as the country's
first cement manufacturer, SCG today has expanded to create
business lines in petrochemicals, paper, building materials,
investments and distribution. Kellogg has been cultivating
an ongoing relationship with the company. Pictured, from left, are: Sasinan Kulsuptrakul, SCG analyst;
