Executives in Residence
Family leaders, non-family executives and family business experts who serve as informal advisors and thought partners to the John L. Ward Center for Family Enterprises.
Leadership experience in all aspects of family enterprise
The Executives in Residence program invites Kellogg alumni and past executive education participants to join the John L. Ward Center for Family Enterprises as an Executive in Residence (EIR).
Family leaders, non-family executives and family business experts provide a rich complement to the Kellogg academic and student experience. As future alumni, students begin to engage with the community of family enterprises and learn critical real-life context to enhance their classroom learning.
EIRs serve a two-year term, act as informal advisors to the Ward Center, participate as mentors and contribute to the classroom and Family Enterprise Club events.
Mentoring Circles
Small groups of MBA students are paired with hand-picked mentors, who are alumni and prominent family business leaders. Each group shares their knowledge and experience of leading a family enterprise in a confidential environment.
