Kellogg's approach to majors gives our students the flexibility and guidance they need to carve out a unique intellectual experience that is relevant to their specific educational and career goals.
Majors
You may choose from eight majors or none at all. Majors include:

- Economics
- Finance
- Management Analytics (not available to students matriculating after Spring 2025)
- Managing Organizations
- Marketing
- Operations
- Strategy
Certificates
To propel the next generation of leaders in healthcare, we offer a Certificate in the Business of Healthcare designed to equip you with a foundational knowledge of the entire healthcare ecosystem, while also allowing you to tailor your courses to your career goals in the sector.
Specializations
In addition to majors, Kellogg provides "specializations" (previously known as "pathways") to our students who are interested in building expertise in emerging areas and evolving industries.
A specialization is an integrated, cross-functional sequence of courses designed to address a particular skill set or industry for which there is active student and recruiter demand. You have the flexibility to pursue any number of specializations and go as deep as you’d like into each one. Specializations are not noted on transcripts.
