Student fellowships enable economic and social development.
As part of a unique fellowship program, CRTI faculty members select students to participate in their summer internship program. In 2011, Kellogg students were selected for 10-week work assignments with non-governmental organizations and social enterprises in India focused on using technology in innovative ways to improve governance, promote education, create livelihoods and improve health care. In addition to the experiential component, the fellowship also included seminars with technology and development leaders.

Recognizing innovative ideas to improve global prosperity.
The KIN Global Prize is open to the Northwestern student community and is designed to foster student-led projects to substantially improve humanity’s ability to thrive. Student teams present proposals, and finalists are selected to present at KIN Global where delegates can award up to $75,000 to the team project that they believe will have the most positive impact. The team garnering the largest donation amount earns the KIN Global Prize.
Corporate collaboration funds scholarship program.
In an ongoing effort to partner with corporations looking to drive the next generation of technology innovation, the CRTI offers scholarship opportunities for MBA students and post-doctorates interested in extended research projects. CRTI’s Motorola Scholars program has provided more than $1 million in scholarship assistance to deserving Kellogg students pursuing their interests in technology and innovation.
