Making an 'impact' in 2010
Kellogg Impact Series to offer global educational and networking opportunities
Building on its global reach, the Kellogg School is preparing a series of international alumni events for 2010.
Dubbed the "Kellogg Impact Series," these broad-based engagement events will offer lifelong learning and networking opportunities to alumni around the world, said Marisa Voorhees, interim director of Alumni Relations.
Conferences are planned for London (Feb. 8), Chicago (Feb. 19), Hong Kong (March 19-20), San Francisco (May 11) and New York (June 3) and will feature keynote addresses on topics related to business, innovation, leadership and society. The series is intended to build on the success of last year's global Centennial conferences.
"The Kellogg Impact Series will also provide an opportunity to network with other alumni," Voorhees said. "It's important to create space for that dialogue among our alums."
All alumni are welcome to attend for a nominal fee; a small percentage of tickets will also be available to students. Interim Dean Sunil Chopra will attend each event.
The Kellogg Impact Series was initiated in response to a recent alumni survey, which indicated that more alumni engagement opportunities were desired on an international level.
