1996

Professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP has promoted three Kellogg graduates based in the Chicago area. Colleen M. Warner has been promoted to partner, Thomas G. Huitink ¹92 has been promoted to principal and David M. Sweig has been promoted to managing director by the firm¹s wholly owned subsidiary, E&Y Capitol Advisors LLC.

Julie Easom Maner and her husband, Andy Maner ¹97, had a little baby boy named Cole Andrew on April 10. She is currently enjoying him and her new life and taking a break from working.

In May, Erica Mannion co-founded Market Street Partner, a boutique investor relations firm serving private and public companies. Market Street Partners is located in the Bay area and can be reached at 510.596.1787.

In the Sept. 11 issue of Information Week, Jim Shanks, the CIO of CDW Computer Centers, was featured as one of a handful of CIOs asked to contribute an essay detailing top business and technology objectives for the coming year. CDW was ranked #23 on its list of 500 most innovative users of technology.

Bernard Dalle has recently been promoted to Partner at Index Ventures (www.indexventures.com), a pan-European venture capitol fund.

Julie Milbratz and Edwin Bender were married at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago April 29. Julie and Edwin are so grateful to the Kellogg friends who were able to attend. Kellogg attendees included: Jennifer (Ord) Bonadio, Bill Bonadio, Bridget Boyle, Tory Cable, Elizabeth Graumann, Robert Graumann, Julie (Herlihy) Kinder, Jeff Kinder, Kathryn Mangel, John Mangel, Allison Pay, Lisa (McClung) Ristic, Blasko Ristic, West Robbins, Anne Ruh, Mark Ruh, Courtney Russell, Jane Salentine, Tom Salentine, Julie Stahl and Julie Whitney.

Having recently gone through a wild IPO ride with an Internet consulting firm called Luminant Worldwide (emerging smarter, but not richer), Pete Disser is settling into a bricks and mortar life at Ni Source, a large energy/utility holding company. He was recently promoted to vice president of a new division created to pursue opportunities in distributed generation and e-business. Pete and his wife, Leigh Ann, have a five-year-old son, Jack (who was almost born during his Nandu Thondavadi Operations final exam!), and a one-year-old, Joseph. They live near the Lake Michigan beach about an hour from Chicago, and would welcome any visitors.

Halina D. Miglus is now at her third Internet company. She has taken the position of director of strategic marketing in the e-commerce at e-house, which is the Internet group of Household International. The position is with the retail services group. On August 5, Halina attended Adrienne Goolsby¹s wedding in Atlanta. There were a host of people from Kellogg who came for the wedding including Nichole Mussenden, Keri Holland ¹97, Margo Mosley, Ben and Angela Hill, Susan and Will Lampley, Jimmy Simmons, Darius Meyers, Patience Marimbe and her husband Mark ¹95, Tyrone Middleton and others.

Stu Fisher and Cecilia Aviles Fisher ¹97 have finally made the move! They have left the potatoes behind in Boise, Idaho, to make the mecca out to high-tech land. Unfortunately, buying a house is not so simple anymore. They recently closed on a 1910 Victorian home in San Francisco¹s Glen Park which they affectionately call their ³ugly baby.² Anyone with an extra hammer--and the knowledge how to use it--should contact Stu and Cecilia immediately at: s-fisher@mail.com.
