She is keeping herself busy volunteering at the school that
Allison (8) and Paul (5) attend in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Joan writes: ³You should see me give my elementary school
level presentation on how the Del Monte tomatoes go from the
farms to the factories to the cans to the supermarkets. (Lots
of vroom-vroom truck noises and descriptions of squashed tomatoes!)
Both kids are playing soccer this fall and Iım coaching Paulıs
bunch ballı team. My husband Jeff and I will travel to Bali
this fall for a rejuvenating sojourn.² Joan says to call when

It sounds
like Hank Miller has also had a busy few years. After
leaving K2 Inc. two years ago, he went to work at Harry Miller
Company, the company his grandfather founded in 1910. Hank
is now president of the company, which manufactures industrial
textiles for military and industrial needs. Hank lives in
the suburbs of Boston with his wife, Melinda, and three kids
Larson (5), Max (3) and Nathalie (4 months). He is still playing
squash and hoping one day to beat Pete Roche and Tim
Denney! Hmiller@harrymiller.com.
Dr.
Steven DeKrey volunteers for great causes! He just completed
serving four years as president of the Hong Kong Kellogg Alumni
Club and he has moved on to working with the American Chamber
of commerce Education Committee and Rotary International.

An e-mail
from Greg Merkley reads: ³Weıve just passed another
milestone<\m>we have a child in college. Whatıs worse, weıll
have another one in college next year. Add to that braces
on the younger two, piano lessons, college visits, applications
and SAT/ACT tests and you have a mid-life budget crunch in
the making. My company Travel, Technology & Magic is involved
in some serious discussions with potential strategic partners,
so our situation could be changing soon. The entrepreneurial
life continues to be educational, if not predictable.² Greg,
please send us the details when you can. greg@positivespace.com

Chris
and Susan OıMalley Ritchie have Jim MacCaulay
to thank for their wonderful life in Minnesota. Chris says
that Jim talked them into trying Minneapolis 16 years ago
and they have been there ever since. Last summer Chris left
Carlsonıs travel group for Dain Rauscher, a regional investment
bank headquartered in Minneapolis. Chrisıs background included
a six-year stint at First Bank (now US Bank). He is pleased
to now be serving as managing director of the private client
group at Dain Rauscher. Chris coaches his daughter Caitlinıs
basketball games. Susan enjoys obtaining the inside scoop
on her son Mikeıs classes in a part-time administrative position
at his school.
Ben
Weiner writes that he is continually challenged at Jaguar.
He was promoted a year ago to national franchise development
manager. Jaguar is going through rapid growth and his responsibility
is ensuring that they have the retail capacity to deliver
on all the growth. Benıs e-mail is MWeiner95@aol.com.
Mary
Madick has taken on some new challenges recently. She
writes, ³Iım busily renovating a 75-year-old house in the
suburbs of Pittsburgh and working on combining the blended
family made up of my two kids Maggie (10) and Eddie (6) as
well as my fiancé Rodgerıs 13-year-old son, Grant. Iım keeping
my hand in the financial services side of things by helping
in the prep work for taking Rodgerıs company public. Look
for us soon on an exchange near you.² Good luck with all of
the new ventures, Mary!
