Jim Edson has joined Littlefeet Inc. as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Littlefeet is a pre-IPO start-up based in San Diego that has introduced innovative products that provide coverage and capacity solutions for wireless operators.

With 22 years in the high tech and telecommunications field, he has extensive experience developing and managing business units and sales, as well as marketing efforts, both in Latin America and Asia for some of the most recognized names in telecommunications. Edson came to Littlefeet from Ericsson where he was vice president for Latin America in the CDMA systems business unit. There, Edson was responsible for all CDMA business development, sales and product marketing activities in Latin America. Previously, he served as regional vice president for Latin America in the wireless systems division at Qualcomm, where he led marketing, sales, field engineering and deployment efforts in Mexico and South America.

Prior to Qualcomm, Edson was with Motorola for 18 years. While at Motorola, Edson served in a variety of sales, marketing and management capacities. Most recently he worked as the director of operations in the Philippines for the Asia-Pacific Cellular Infrastructure Group. Prior to the Philippines, Edson spent six years in Japan where he was general manager of two Motorola businesses.
