After selling Life Fitness (makers of Lifecycle, and the world's largest exercise equipment company) to Brunswick, Robert Hood and his wife bought 10 acres of land in Colorado. He is now working with his wife at their company, Wellcare Dimensions Inc. (a dot-com preventative healthcare business), where they are expanding into Europe with a focus on Germany.

Todd A Smith, a Chicago attorney, has been elected treasurer of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). Todd currently serves on the ATLAšs Board of Governors and Executive Committee.
