1950's

Marvin F. Ewing ¹50 has been retired for 20 years and says that he does very little (walk the dog in the a.m. and p.m., watch TV and sleep). But he recently has sent a couple of songs that he wrote to Mr. D. Missimi, Northwestern¹s music director, in hopes that he can use them in the next Waa-Mu show. Marvin would really appreciate that. Having graduated from the Chicago Avenue Business School held primarily for WWII veterans, Marvin can only say that he would not know a soul there!

Ramona Baker Anderson is living in Marinette, Wis., working as a freelance photographer and participating in community work and the stock club.

Frank E. Ashton is living in Glencoe, Mo., and enjoys traveling (including RV travel), dancing, hiking and reading.

Fred I. Anrod is retired from a 39-year stint at Motorola in industrial engineering (department head of Administrative Services, department head of Salvage-Reclamation) and is living in Evanston, Ill. Fred supports foreign students from China and Taiwan, as well as traveling himself to China, Russia and Sicily. Fred also monitors tests for industrial employment as well as attending NU¹s concerts.

Judson W. Bauer is now living in Lake Forest, Ill.

Ian W. Beaton is the retired senior vice president of an advertising agency living in Tucson, Ariz. He is married to Carol J. Lindner SP ¹50, and now writes freelance articles and books as well as plays golf.

Fred Burkart is the retired manager of systems development information services. He lives in Walnut Creek, Calif., where he plays golf, reads, travels and is a volunteer for income tax assistance.

James R. Clancy is a retired life insurance salesman living in Arlington Heights, Ill.

Robert H. Connell is living in Phoenix and is a retired accounting and finance controller. He enjoys both golf and tennis.

Philip L. Corper is retired and living in Chappaqua, N.Y., where he enjoys traveling and golf.

Richard Damisch lives in Northbrook, Ill., as a developer of residential housing at Triple Oaks Farm in Hampshire, Ill. He is a member of the International Board of Governors and the Circumnavigation Club. He is married to Jean Larson CAS¹51 and has traveled around the world five times.

Leila Foster is an author of children¹s books and lives in Evanston, Ill.

Herbert L. Fox lives in Glenview, Ill., and is involved in investments, management, golf, travel and trade organizations. He is the author of How to be a Winner at Poker.

Eugene N. Gordon is a business owner living in Roseville, Calif. He belongs to SCORE (Services Corps of Retired Executives).

David C. Gustafson is an automobile dealer in Tequesta, Fla. He enjoys golf, travel, computers and spending his summers in Menominee, Wis.

Walter F. Hoeppner, Jr. lives in Hendersonville, N.C., and is retired after 36 years with AMOCO (finance and human resources). He is now involved in volunteer activities (trustee of Brevard and the N.C. Music Center).

Mary Class Jefferson is retired and living in Groves, Texas.

Leroy Krause is living in Lincoln, Mich., after 55 years in sales. He is active in the Miss America Program and a 34-year-long sponsor for the Miss Michigan Pageant. He is now involved as a member of NE Michigan HomeBuilders Association, Lions, Masonic Order and Shrine. He participates in the annual Madonna University scholarship auction and is an avid photographer.

Donald N. Koepp lives in Pewaukee, Wis., as a small business owner and real estate developer. He enjoys tennis, skiing and biking.

Robert Landrath is retired after 42 years at Kraft Foods in sales management and headquarters administration and is living in Clearwater, Fla. He enjoys boating, golf, hospital volunteering and jogging.

Robert Lidecker is retired and living in Northfield, Ill.

Melvin Long is living in McHenry, Ill., and is working part-time at the Northern Illinois Medical Center. He is director of Hospital Aux. and a volunteer at the NIMC church choir.

James Minnis is retired and living in Wilmette, Ill.

George Miner is retired and living in Melbourne, Fla., where he plays golf.

Charles W. Norman lives in Littleton, Colo., where he is involved in medical products marketing, philanthropy and as the president of the CT Community Foundation. He travels, plays tennis, skis, reads and hikes.

Michael Orlich is living in Reno, Nev.

Willis O. Oster is an environmental consultant living in Howell, Mich., where he is involved in recycling and tennis.

Norval E. Poulson is the retired president of a burglar-fire alarm company. He lives in Hinsdale, Ill., where he volunteers at the Summit computer center and plays tennis.

Frank Preucil is living in Old Greenich, Colo. He is a retired CPA and now volunteers with three non-profit organizations.

Richard Sorenson lives in Atlanta, Ga., as a real estate developer & investor and a trustee of an educational institution. He is a retired chairman of Southeast Venture Corp, the past president of Phoenix Investment Co., former trustee of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, general partner of three real estate partnerships with land holdings in five southeastern states, and a trustee of the Lovett School.

Sidney Stiefel is retired and living in Ottawa, Ill.

William Waggoner is a retired camp owner and director who travels, hunts and fishes. He has remarried and is living in Tuxedo, N.C.

James T. Welty had a 39-year career in transportation & logistics with Tribune, Honeywell and Raytheon. He is now living in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Robert Winkle is retired and living in Wauwatosa, Wis., where he is involved in church activities.
