He has spent the majority of his career working in the financial services industry as a life insurance advisor, and a retirement education and investment specialist. Prior to joining the industry, he was appointed to the United States Congressional Staff of the House of Representatives, followed by the Senate Finance Committee. The Executive Branch appointed him to several positions, including staff to the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury during the Carter Administration.
