Lots of
news to report from Western Washington: First of all, a huge
heap of thanks to Rima Kelertas, outgoing alumni club president,
who worked tirelessly for more than two years on behalf of
local alums. Thank you, Rima! And welcome to Ann MacDiarmid,
our new fearless leader, who has taken over where Rima left
off — and is brimming with ideas for strengthening the
club and making it an even better resource for networking,
education and fun. Ann welcomes your input, ideas and involvement,
and can be reached at amacdiarmid1998@kellogg.northwestern.edu.
Keep
your eyes peeled for e-mails announcing lots of great upcoming
events. We planned a hike at Wallace Falls State Park in June,
a picnic with other area alumni clubs on Mercer Island in
July, a canoeing/kayaking event near the University District
in August, and we’ll bid farewell to the summer season
with our popular annual wine-tasting event in September. Be
sure to update your contact information on the Kellogg alumni
database if you haven’t already done so — and
we’ll look forward to seeing you soon!
