Robert Swan,
first man to walk to the South Pole and the North Pole on the
longest unassisted journey of mankind, gave an inspirational
speech to the U.K. club about personal leadership to nearly
100 alumni, including some from various peer business schools.
Organized by the Kellogg Alumni Club of London and sponsored
by Lehman Brothers, the event began with a posh cocktail party
in the LB Board Room and concluded with Swan’s invigorating
speech and slide show about his struggles and successes.
