TMP 2000

Hello TMP Class of 2000!

Want to get notices on when to send in your Kellogg World Class Notes updates? Set up your Kellogg alumni e-mail forwarding address! You can visit www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/alumni/eservices.htm to set this up and sign up for the TMP Class of 2000 electronic mailing list.

On with the updates.

After taking the summer off and moving to Boston, Barb Borgstrom has accepted an offer at Sensitech (www.sensitech.com) as their life sciences marketing manager. Barb notes that the Kellogg community was very helpful during the job search process; she may be reached at work at 978.720.2541 or on her cell phone at 978.317.6992.

David J. Burden writes that he and Kristina Holcomb (TMP '02) were
married Sept. 8 in Evanston, followed by a honeymoon in Maui. They
currently reside in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago. David and
Kristina just bought season tickets to NU Football, so we'll all be sure to keep an eye open for their tailgate parties!

David is also organizing the 2nd Annual Kellogg Real Estate Alumni Golf Outing for Wednesday, July 31 at Stonewall Orchard in Grayslake. He can be reached at CB Richard Ellis, Inc. at 312.861.7886 or david.burden@mindspring.com.

Mike Caponigro married Tracie Militano in San Francisco on April 13. They plan to continue to call San Francisco their home, although their hearts will always remain in Chicago! Mike is still working with Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group and can be reached at mcaponig@cisco.com.

Mark Panley and his wife Chandra introduced their first child - Caitlyn Elizabeth Panley - into the world on Feb. 13. Mark is working for i2 Technologies and resides in Columbus, Ohio. He can be reached at mpanley@yahoo.com.

On May 2, Scott Pape and wife Janine were blessed with their first child, John Scott Pape. "John-John" weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces and is 20.5 inches long. In addition to being a father, Scott is now manager, commercial for U.S. Steel Plate Products, with marketing and sales responsibility for 750,000 tons of steel plate annually. Scott reports that the steel business continues to be difficult, as over 30 percent of domestic capacity is either closed or operating in bankruptcy.

Besides optimizing space in their condo and taking care of their new baby, Janine and Scott are spending their time as chairs for Summer in the City. This charity event is Aug. 2 at Galleria Marchetti, and is the only fundraiser for St. Teresa of Avila parish. The event includes great food, live and silent auctions with travel packages and gift items, as well as live music. They hope to see some Kellogg alumni attend this event for a good time and a worthy cause. For information, send an e-mail to Scott at scpape@msn.com.

On March 13, Tres Roeder and his wife, Elizabeth, became the parents of a wonderful 8-pound, 10-ounce boy named Garrett George. Mommy and baby are in good health. Tres reports that he has started his own firm, Roeder Consulting Inc., offering strategy and operations consulting for small to mid-sized companies. Tres can be reached at roeder_tres@roederconsulting.com. It was great hearing from you, Tres!

It was great hearing from all of you, so please keep the updates coming! Go Cats!
