KH-01
From Pat
Murtha: Currently, I am functioning in three roles with Yum!
Restaurants International (Yes, we changed our name to accommodate
the acquisition of two additional brands: Long John Silvers
and A&W All American Food). I still maintain responsibility
for international human resources, but also now have our international
operations team reporting to me. More significantly, I became
chairman of the board of our JV in Japan in February. KFC-Japan
is a publicly listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
I spend two weeks a month commuting to Tokyo from Dallas in
my capacity as chairman. The challenge is terrific and I am
certainly putting my MBA to good use. I actually keep up with
the developments and activities of my fellow KH-01 alumni
though the e-mail announcements, etc., and I am glad to see
that most are doing well.
Considering
how prolific KH-01 has been, look for more baby news in the
coming months.

Mike Wong
has moved and is now working as deputy general manager of
marketing for BP Chemical in Zhuhai, China. Apparently some
KH-01 golfers have already made the pilgrimage to a nearby
golf course. You may reach him via e-mail at mike.wong@bp.com,
or mnwong@online.sh.cn.
Ms. Carrina
Wong is now Mrs. Clement Chan. Guess which company provided
the wedding cake?
Lyndon
Chao's wedding in Taipei on Dec. 19 to Lillian Chu was attended
by fellow classmate Vincent Chui.
As of
February, Kersti Krepp has joined Polar Air Cargo as vice
president of sales for Asia. She can be reached at kerskr@polaraircargo.com.
Best

of the Horse!
