EMP-38
Like many
EMPers, our group is on the move. Kevin Garton recently joined
America Online as executive director of partner marketing.
Mike O'Dell got a new assignment at Sears. He moved from the
vice president of stores for Sears Automotive group to vice
president/general manager of Full Line Stores, Southeast Region.
In Mike's new role, he is responsible for stores from Virginia
to Puerto Rico. Gary Weiss has become CFO of the Medical Group
of Evanston-Northwestern Healthcare. Ozzie Khan is senior
medical director and vice president of medical affairs at
Cigna downtown. He and his ever expanding family - his wife
and their four children - moved back to Northfield from Florida.
Neal Campbell has moved from the infrastructure sector to
the mobile phone sector at Motorola. Neal is now a senior
director working in location-based services. He will be responsible
for developing and marketing the software that will direct
you to your destination using your cell phone. In a
former life Neal was a bartender, so we are sure no drinking
establishment will be left out of the database.
On a
personal note, Tina and Erick Christensen became suburbanites
when they moved to their newly constructed home in Glenview
in April. Erick says the builder is still taking care of a
few finishing touches and then the decorating begins! Steve
Calk was married last October in Puerto Rico followed by a
trip around the world. Kelly White and her husband, Duncan,
adopted a baby and moved to the suburbs. And Jeff VenderŠ
well, he's still Dr. Jeff. On a sadder note, Jerry Lincoln
lost both his parents in the last
year and Mary Bouska's dad recently passed away. Our condolences
to
them both.
We'll
be planning another impromptu get together, so please let
Larry or me know if you have e-mail addresses for any of our
missing classmates. |
