10th Reunion
EMP-24's 10th Reunion

EMP-24

It was great seeing so many of you at the 10-year reunion. The cocktails and dinner served as a nice background for renewing old acquaintances. Unfortunately several classmates who had planned to be there were unable to attend. In the tradition of EMP-24, however, we did not let that dampen our spirits.

EMP-24's 10th Reunion

The list of attendees includes Mark Bagnoli, Suzette Broome, Eileen Clune, David Cole, Kathleen Donahue, Joe Feldman, Vaughn Gordy, Bill Graham, Leslie Johnson, Lou Kacyn, Bill Kaczinski, Mike Krueger, Ann McLaughlin, Paul Meyer, Judy Plummer, Greg Powell, Barb Rubenstein, Bob Ryan, Mike Silverman, Nandu Thondavadi, Jean Thompson, Bill White and Robert Van Osten. We were also joined by Erica Kantor and her husband. Several "significant others" were there as well including Peg Paoni who was filling in for Tony Paoni. Tony was recovering from surgery and pneumonia. (More about Tony in a moment.) We all enjoyed the facts, embellishments and tall tales that surfaced as we recalled events from 10 to 12 years ago. Nandu proved that his memory is as impeccable as ever and Leslie needs to share some of the water she took from the fountain of youth. Ann's voice remains unmistakable and Dr. Paul still looks like a million bucks in a suit. One of the
highlights of the evening was our trip to the "bar". Mark Bagnoli was the inspirational leader on that particular quest. By the end of the evening it was clear that the spirit of EMP-24 was alive and well.

Special thanks to Anne McLaughlin for her assistance in last minute
activity coordination.

Tony Paoni should be back to work by July following his unexpected visit to the hospital for major surgery in May. Work for Tony includes two occupations. In April 2001 he joined DiamondCluster as vice chairman and partner for the worldwide strategy and technology company. They are a Chicago-based company with 14 offices located across the nation. Tony had been associated with DiamondCluster as a "fellow" for six years. Tony's other job is that of EMP professor in the area of strategy and technology. He likes the opportunity to teach and practice the same disciplines.
