Bill Lee has been named president for Chicago-based Herbst LaZar Bell Inc. Bill has been with HLB for the past 13 years, previously in the position of executive vice president. As president, he will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the 80-person firm, which has operations in Chicago, Boston, and Los Angeles.

Julie Easom Maner lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband Andy Maner '97. She writes to say that being a mother is her full-time job, but she is looking for a part-time consulting position. She says that Andy is chief of staff for the U.S. Customs Service.
