1994

Hi there. I am a bit lacking in the news department just now. However, thanks to a few classmates who provided updates and some random tidbits of information that I somehow pulled from my memory, we actually have a short column in this issue! Scott Kelley wrote with quite a bit of news to share. He and his wife, Ellie, just moved into a new home in New Hope, Pa. They have a 2-year-old daughter named Stella. After nearly eight years with Goldman Sachs, Scott left to be the director of marketing for CooperNeff, a Philadelphia hedge fund. Sonal Thakar Rinello lives in Greenwich, Conn., and recently joined L'Occitane. After six years in New York City, Grace Han moved to Boston in April and is working in the health-care investment banking group of Adams, Harkness and Hill. Grace lives in Beacon Hill.

Matt Milner's new company, Guy Critical, was featured in the June/July issue of Jane magazine. The site is GuyCritical.com. Lisa Axelrod, Carlee Semerdjian and Catherine (Craighead) Briggs recently caught up with each other at an Evanston park. Lisa and Mike Axelrod live in Evanston with their two children, a stone's throw from Kellogg. Lisa is enjoying spending time at home and Mike is with Kraft and this spring got to throw out a pitch at Wrigley Field!

Carlee returned to Chicago at the end of last year after being in New York City since graduation. She lives in Wilmette with her husband, Mike, and their two sons. Catherine has been living in Wilmette but is headed for northern California in June with her husband, Gary, and their two boys.

In April, Diamond Cluster International named Daniel Toth a partner at the global management consulting firm. Daniel graduated from Kellogg with concentrations in health services administration, accounting and finance. He currently lives in Batavia, Ill.

We recently had a mini-reunion in Boston with Amy Rose, Sally and Scott Pofcher, Connie (Gute) Walsh and Jeff Walsh '93, Lisa and Mike Axelrod and me, Suzie Rubin. It was a great weekend and we even managed to relax a little bit while managing the diverse needs and demands of eight kids! Sally and Scott live in San Francisco, and their daughter will join those of Lisi Baillere and Laura (Fink) Katter in preschool next year!

I recently caught up with Kate (Dello Stritto) and Mike Schoenle. They returned to Plymouth, Mich. last winter after three years in London. Mike is working for Visteon and Kate is home with Joseph (5), Grace (3) and David (1). They had a great ex-pat experience but are excited to be home. Since their return, Kate has caught up with Kate Kusterman, who is living in Chicago and working for the city.

Dan Evarts and his wife, Tray, left Cambridge for Hingham, Mass., in November, where they live with their two children. Dan works for The Recovery Group, a turnaround consulting firm, and has seen John Montgomery on the water shuttle during the morning commute.

That is all the news I have to share this time around. As always, please send me any information you want to share and I'll be happy to include it next time!
