1991

I hope the summer finds all of you reminiscing about days on the lakefill and hanging out in downtown Chicago. Spring and summer seem to find more folks outside and fewer people sending in news. Send an e-mail or a postcard so there's more meat for the next issue!

Paul Fingersh and Brenda Althouse (TMP '95 ) were married in April in Kansas City, Mo. Paul is a principal at KC Venture Group, a real estate investment firm, and Brenda is a marketing manager at Hallmark Cards. They live in Kansas City.

Leslie and Sam Zales proudly announce the arrival of Jessica Rose "Jessie" Zales, born Feb. 27. Zales family record: 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Leslie and Gracie Z. are doing great. Welcome Jessie!

Jay LeCoque married Alison Vanderhoof '00 on July 6, 2001, at Café Brauer in Chicago. Ali is now a second-year strategic management consultant with BCG in Chicago, and Jay is CEO of Celsis International. Ali and Jay are also busy fixing up their "Old Town cottage home" in Chicago.

Kevin and Ann White are doing very well. Their first child, Jarret, is training with the U.S. Olympic team (winter and summer). Marjorie Brown married David Pearson on New Year's in the Bayou. Carol Hessler writes from Jakarta, Indonesia: "We have been living in Indonesia for four and a half years, where I run the operations of Edison Mission Energy. My husband, Davis, is an architect building houses in Bali (yes, he has a dream job!) and we have two daughters: Sarinah (3) and Sophia (8 months)."

John Michael Prince proudly announces the birth of his son, John Michael Prince II (Jack), on April 21. Jack is also welcomed into this world by his grandfather, Kellogg Professor Thomas R. Prince. John will be transitioning from his position as a health-care consulting partner for Arthur Andersen to the position of senior vice president, head of health-care business development and strategy at Bank One. His wife, Carol Hartigan Prince, is director of credit card marketing for the United States for BP. The Prince family resides on Cedar Street in Chicago.

Bill Bohnsack and Kara and son Charlie are hanging in the city expecting a long hot summer, but are having lots of fun.

Bill Fair has built a successful business called Haelth, focused on building and operating complementary medical treatment centers. Visit www.haelth.com.

Andre Crump has edited a new book - The Cafés of San Francisco (TCB-Café Publishing). Andre writes that the book celebrates "the secret pulse of San Francisco's legendary café lifestyle, and serves as a guide to the café culture in the Bay Area."

As a last-ditch effort in pursuit of more news, Tim Balfe came through with some scoop. He and his wife, Bachis, and kids, Allan and Alex, are living in Denver, and we had a close-to-editorial-deadline dinner the other night with all the families. Ed Raftery's bachelor party resounded, as did Ty Robert's launching of yet another start-up, Tom Kalishman's move (back) to Atlanta, and John Mankus' must-be-interesting life in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Please write with more news. Have a great summer!
