Albert
Pinder '48 of Grinnell, Iowa, has been the publisher of the
Grinnell Herald-Register since 1974. He has received several
awards, including an honorary degree from Grinnell College

has been the foreign-visitor program, which he and his family

journalists and others have visited the Pinders and their
newspaper offices. Another project has been a long-standing
internship program offering newspaper experience
