Since Oct. 1 Thomas Dorbert has been managing director and head of leverage finance of Mediobanca S.p.A. in Frankfurt, responsible for German, Austrian and Swiss deals. Previously, he was with Dresdner Kleinwort where he was co-head of leverage finance Germany. Thomas has a longstanding experience in the private equity industry and will now lead Mediobanca's LF-business in the German speaking markets. Mediobanca is a top European player in M&A and LF and Italy's most exclusive and powerful investment banking house. The opening of the offices in Germany is part of Mediobanca's European internationalization strategy.

After more than 20 years in the automotive industry Jesus Lopez has decided to become self-employed. He acquired a small and medium-sized enterprise, Edelmann Technology GmbH & Co. KG, via management buy-in. The company delivers customized winding and slitting solutions worldwide as a partner of the leading non-woven producers and converters around the globe.
