Vijay Rao writes: "Just wanted to inform you that I have accepted the position of global vice president with a company called IDEX Corp. This will give me good exposure to M&A as well as give me an opportunity to run a business unit in a couple of years. Also, it gives me the chance to get out of software and go back into engineering/manufacturing. The position is based in Lake Bluff, Ill., a few minutes north of Evanston, so I will be leaving sunny and warm Florida for the cold weather. Looking forward to seeing all you Chicagoans and hopefully meet up with you guys often.
