  Rob Sit EMP-51

EMP-51

Greetings, alumni. Not a lot of response to the call for news in this last round, but here's what we have.

Rob Sit made sure the we are up to date on his fellow Minnesotan by sending in the following Bob Muhs tidbit. Bob, who was the director of System Operations Control, has been promoted to the position of vice president. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in Northwest's SOC over the last 25 years after starting in Northwest's Airport Operations department in 1977. Nice work, Bob. Speaking of Rob, he is celebrating the January birth of twins.

Scott Funston has transferred within The Walt Disney Company to the director of financial reporting of parks and resorts. This includes business unit responsibilities for Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines and Disney Vacation Club as well as segment consolidation responsibilities for Disneyland Resort Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Disneyland, plus seven other minor business units. When do you put on the Mickey Mouse costume and hit the midway, Scott?

Serge Tarazi also had some news: "Work is extremely busy with lots of travel. Still at Honeywell and I am now the vice president of Boeing Rotorcraft Programs, responsible for $500 million worth of business. It's challenging but always interesting. We did have a mini Kellogg gathering here in Scottsdale, Ariz., over the summer when Marc Zimmerman, Becky Comstock and I got together for dinner. It was great catching up."

Be sure to keep sending in your news and pictures. Hope you're all having a great 2008.
