Rick Axelrod has been elected by his peers to the board of directors for America's Blood Centers, a federation of 77 FDA licensed blood centers operating more than 600 collection sites in 45 states. Member blood centers serve more than 180 million people and 4,200 hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Tracy Tsuetaki writes: "I have joined Catalent Pharma Solutions as group president. Catalent is a leading provider of advanced technologies and outsourced services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer health industry. Catalent develops, manufactures and packages pharmaceutical and other products for customers in nearly 100 countries, employs approximately 10,000 at more than 30 facilities worldwide and generates more than $1.7 billion in annual revenue."
