Linda
Bracken sent in some exciting news: "I had twin baby
girls on Sept. 28. Jenna Grace Bracken and Tara Lynn Bracken
weighed in at 6 pounds each and are both doing great. My girls
are bringing so much joy into my life.
"My
other 'baby,' YJT Solutions, is also doing great. For those
who don't know, Rob Merrilees and I co-founded YJT
six years ago to help trading firms and financial institutions
leverage technology and apply ideas. We have been growing
consistently each year and now have more than 30 employees
in our practice. We are doing some interesting consulting
projects in both Chicago and New York City, as well as providing
our clients with 24-7 infrastructure support tailored to the
trading industry. In 1999 Rob founded (and still runs) Spot
Trading, a proprietary options trading firm in Chicago."
Linda
says she is eager to catch up with all of you and hear what's
happening in your worlds. Contact her at Linda.Bracken@YJTSolutions.com.
Art Handman
writes: "I've taken on a new role at Energizer, as vice
president/general manager of our North American battery business,
now called the Energizer household products division, as we
have businesses like lighting products and devices as well.
It is the single largest business unit in Energizer Holdings
(the parent company), and includes both the U.S. and Canada,
with full cross-functional and P&L responsibility. If
it isn't old news, I'd add a thanks to Kellogg and our classmates.
The learning I got in our two years together was a critical
part of getting to this role." Contact Art at Art.Handman@energizer.com.
