Bill Christopher writes: "My kids are 24, 22, 20 and 15 now. Wow, how time flies. We're all doing great. Everything is nice and steady, just the way I like it as I approach my 50th birthday."

[Y'all ought to read between the lines here and recognize that gifts and birthday wishes are due to Bill. If you haven't done so already, please send him something tasteful and expensive right this minute.]

From Chuck Weinles: "As a member of Dean Jain's Kellogg Alumni Advisory Board, Mariette and I had the opportunity last year to join him and 50 other board members and spouses on a trip to India. It was a tremendous privilege going with Dipak and experiencing India from both a tourist and business perspective. Over two weeks we visited the following cities: Hyderbad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur. Because of the dean's connections, we sat in the boardrooms and visited companies like Reliance Industries, Tata Consulting, Dr. Reddy's Labs, Infosys, Google India, Hindustan News and the Indian School of Business. One of the highlights was being invited to the home of India's prime minister, Manmohan Singh. The group that went has stayed very close and we will be celebrating our upcoming anniversary at Gaylords Indian Restaurant."

Ralph Lambka reports: "More than a few changes for the Lambkas. Our oldest daughter was married on July 16 and is now living in the Philadelphia area; daughter No. 2 graduated from U of I with a mechanical engineering degree and works for John Deere in Dubuque, Iowa; and our youngest, Don, is a junior at U of I and is planning a medical career. Margaret is very active with our church and charitable activities, and I have just taken a job at Cisco Systems calling on US Cellular here in Chicago. I hope you are doing well, and look forward to the next reunion."

And from Lori Yokoyama: "I recently attended a dinner and ran into Jim Corboy, who is doing great. I was recently nominated by the Consulate-General of Japan at Chicago to serve as a representative in the 2008 Japanese American Leadership Delegation. I have received word that I have been selected as one of 13 delegates, chosen from throughout the U.S., to travel to Japan. We are going to meet with numerous dignitaries and business leaders. We recently traveled to L.A.for an orientation of our trip. The delegation is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership and the Japanese American National Museum. We also have relocated our offices; our new contact information is: Lori S.C. Yokoyama & Associates, P.C.; 150 N. Michigan, Suite 3300; Chicago, IL 60601; 312.380.6580; 312.284.4888; e-mail lscylaw@gmail.com."

Martha David continues to travel the world. She is particularly happy now that the primaries are underway.

Many thanks to the five of you who took the time to write in.
