Gary
Osifchin recently went from household cleaners to BritWatch
when he left SCJ to go to People magazine at Time Inc. where
he is now vice president of retail marketing. He lives in
New York City, with his partner, Wes. Gary also continues
to work for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality
in the workplace, co-chairing OUT@TIME and sitting
on the boarding of Out & Equal Metro NY.
Much to our chagrin,
we have not been able to convince Tak Imada to move
from Japan, but he's still there thriving as the head of business
planning and analysis for Citibank. He also recently had his
second daughter, whom he must have left at home while he was
in Las Vegas with Roger Bartos and Jeff Patton.
After eight years in Hispanic marketing, Martin
Rubensteinhas started Xpand Marketing, a marketing and advertising
agency based out of Houston.
Christina
Oh recently left her position at Booz Allen & Hamilton
to start her own handbag line, Blvd, and has been steadily
gaining distribution.
Lauren
Goldstein left her job in corporate real estate to break
into the movie industry — movie theaters, that is. She
moved to Bloomfield Hills, Mich., with her husband and two
kids to join the family business last April.
Dear
Judy Lin, our woman of mystery whom you hear stories
of sailing around the world, has set port in San Francisco
now working for Beaucoup, an online wedding and special occasion
gifts company.
What's
an update without a mention or sighting of Ky Vu? After
working in San Francisco's charter school program, Ky moved
up to Seattle in January with his wife, Rhonda, to manage
education grants for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Ravin Gandhi
married Sonal Adhikari in Chicago on Nov. 17. Kellogg friends
in attendance were Jason Junge, Richard Edge,
Jose Luis Martinez, Mark Dolfato, Tracey (Bowen)
Weinberg, Ben Kutrieb '01 and Erika (Dillon)
Kutrieb.
Lynn
Miller Carr welcomed her second son, Maddox Carr, on Sept.
18.
Emily
and Scott Mencken had twin boys in September, who
joined their sister Katie (2).
Mary
Collins and husband Rob had Marjorie Karen Collins on
Oct. 18, the third addition to their family.
Simon Feiglin and
wife Amy welcomed their fourth child in December, after giving
birth to a startup earlier that year, specializing in high-end
strollers and other baby products.
Jamie
Treens had his second baby girl on Jan. 8. If that wasn't
enough change, he also recently left consumer packaged goods
for consumer electronics, joining Panasonic early this year.
Veena Rau and
husband Bill Nowakoski welcomed their baby girl, Ahalya
Lakshmi, into the world on Jan. 22.
And
yes, I and my husband, Eric Ranta '99, welcomed our little
guy, Donovan, to the world last April. What a cool dude, indeed. |
