1996 — Part-Time

After graduation, Sam Bali lived in the Bay Area (for less than one year), New York/New Jersey (two years working for KPMG Peat Marwick and AndersenConsulting) and Canada (less than one year). He returned to the U.S. in 1999 and worked as an independent consultant until 2004. While self-employed, he took some accounting and tax courses and even worked as a specialist at H&R Block one tax season. From May 2004 through this January he worked for Accenture as an experienced consultant. He reports that he is now in transition.

Since graduating, Kerry Martin has married Vicki, raised a family (sons Bailey and Brady and daughter Avery), and received a juris doctorate from The George Washington University Law School (2001). He lived in Arlington, Va., for six years, Toledo for one and a half years, and Dublin, Ohio, for a year before moving back to Chicagoland in 2005.

Kerry writes: "I was an insurance executive at Aon and Marsh. Along the way, I went off on my own twice, forming Insurance Purchasing Strategies and Martin Risk Advisory Services. The unfortunate need to make real money led to the early demise of IPS and MRAS. Currently, I am the chief operating officer for The Plexus Groupe Inc. No more wives, kids or family moves are planned."
