Brian Uzzi Research Lab
Professor Uzzi is the Co-Director of the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems (NICO) and a faculty member at The Center for Science of Science & Innovation (CSSI). NICO is a university-wide institute made of distinguished faculty from all areas of the university, including the Kellogg School of Management, the McCormick School of Engineering, the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Communication, the School of Education and Social Policy, and the Feinberg School of Medicine. NICO's mission is to serve as a hub and a facilitator for path-breaking research in complexity and data science that transcends the boundaries of established disciplines.
