Embarking on an MBA at Kellogg is an exhilarating experience. Our vibrant and engaged school community offers students an abundance of opportunities to explore their passions and interests. Whether joining one of the many student clubs, participating in on-campus events or diving into innovative and immersive courses, Kellogg offers a dynamic environment that fosters growth, learning and connection.

We asked some Full-Time MBA students to share how they plan to make the most of their time at Kellogg. Here’s what they had to say:

Meredith Griffin, JD-MBA Program
Pre-MBA career: Case manager, Aleta Law

Meredith Griffin is a JD-MBA Program student at Kellogg

“I’m particularly excited about the Sports Business Club at Kellogg. The club’s extensive network with a wide range of sports teams and organizations across the country, presents a fantastic opportunity for engagement. As someone passionate about advancing women’s sports, I am eager to contribute to the club’s efforts in expanding its connections and influence.”

Candela Kechkian, MBAi Program
Pre-MBA career: Senior consultant, Deloitte

Candela Kechkian is a student in the MBAi Program

“I really love how ‘small group dinners’ are part of the culture at Kellogg, and even encouraged by the school. We were able to experience this during Day at Kellogg, when more than 100 students opened their homes to host prospective students visiting campus.

“The hosts usually try to invite people they have not had the chance to get to know yet, and it’s such a meaningful way to get to know people. I also personally enjoy laid-back social events like these more than late nights out in the city.”

Mallory Kirby, Two-Year MBA
Pre-MBA career: Director of health plan research, Advisory Board

Mallory Kirby is a Two-Year MBA student at Kellogg

“During Day at Kellogg, I learned about a course called Moral Complexity in Leadership: An Exploration through Literature. I’m an avid reader and firmly believe there are lessons to be learned through fiction — maybe not facts but new perspectives, social complexities and morals.

“I’m so excited to take this course. I love the idea that well-rounded leaders are not just built on business acumen but also on skills that explore moral questions through multiple modalities.”

Joseph Rodriguez, Two-Year MBA
Pre-MBA career: Senior financial analyst, Comerica Bank

Joseph Rodriguez is a Two-Year MBA student at Kellogg

“As a proud Texan, the Texas Business Club spoke to me. My goal is to eventually move back to Texas, and the fact that there is a club dedicated to alumni in that geography was the icing on the cake in my decision to attend Kellogg. Few top programs have such a strong alumni presence in Texas, providing me with a built-in network when I move back — that is invaluable.

“I’m also excited about KWEST and joining other clubs such as the Hispanic Management Association and the Consulting Club.”
