Kellogg will host the annual Business Leaders Forum this Friday at the school’s Miami campus, bringing together top industry executives, influential thought leaders and senior Kellogg alumni to address some of the most pressing challenges facing global business leaders today. As Miami continues to establish itself as a dynamic hub on the world business stage, attendees will convene at the Kellogg Miami campus to discuss critical topics that impact companies worldwide — including the evolving landscape of cybersecurity and how leaders can prepare for an unpredictable economic future.

Joining this year’s Forum are Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Coral Gables Mayor Vince Lago, who will be interviewed by Dean Francesca Cornelli on growing the South Florida business community amidst a variety of opportunities and challenges. Additional speakers include Kellogg alumni Matthew Caldwell, ’10 JD, MBA, president, CEO and alternate governor of the Florida Panthers, and Mark Zarthar ’14 MBA, chief strategy officer of the Florida Panthers, who will share insights from the decade-long turnaround that led the team to their first ever Stanley Cup.

"Hosting the Business Leaders Forum at our Miami campus highlights our long-standing presence and connections in this vibrant, rapidly growing business hub,” said Dean Cornelli. “Miami offers unparalleled access to the heart of the Americas, and by bringing together industry leaders, government officials and alumni, we can engage with the region’s dynamic challenges and opportunities.”

Kellogg established its Miami campus in 2006, with the goal of serving its global network of alumni and business leaders in Latin America and beyond. Kellogg currently offers a robust portfolio of programs in Miami, including its top-ranked Executive MBA Program and non-degree Executive Education programs. This Business Leaders Forum arrives at a time when Kellogg is tripling the number of Executive Education programs offered in Miami, further underscoring the school’s commitment to expanding its footprint in this key global hub.

“For businesses in tech and finance, the City of Miami is rapidly becoming both the central geographic point for commerce in the Western Hemisphere and the global ‘Capital of Capital,’ all while maintaining a thriving ecosystem,” said Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. “As we look toward the future, Miami’s commitment to fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, supporting workforce development, investing in cutting-edge infrastructure and partnering with institutions like Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management is key to ensuring Miami remains at the forefront of the global marketplace.”

Kellogg’s commitment to Miami reflects the school’s strategic vision to enhance its reach in key international markets and offer world-class programming tailored to the needs of business professionals in one of the most dynamic regions of the world. Miami’s position as a global hub for finance, trade and innovation makes it an ideal base for fostering deeper connections and offering cutting-edge leadership development.

“The Kellogg School of Management is a leader in business education, equipping professionals with the expertise and innovation needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving global economy,” said Coral Gables Mayor Vince Lago. “As Miami continues to expand as an international hub for business and entrepreneurship, we recognize Kellogg’s essential role in preparing the leaders who will shape the future of South Florida.”
