Susan Silver was thrilled to be able to pass the New Year in Laos with Susan Osborne Baskin and family during their around-the-world adventure. Matthew Shapiro '93 also joined them.

Ana Dutra finished her second  Ironman 70.3 in Racine, Wis., this summer. She also has raced in Benton Harbor, Mich., and ran her third Chicago Marathon in October.

Carlos Leon and his wife Melyza took their oldest son, Carlos, to Syracuse University, where he will study Mechanical Engineering. Having completed his third Ironman 70.3, Carlos also ran in the Berlin Marathon on September 29.

James "Jimmy" Locke has been living in Delaware for the past eight years with his two children, ages 13 and 10. He has an international market development firm that helps clients establish a successful presence in Brazil via M&A, joint ventures and business development efforts.

Mark Jansen accepted a job as CEO of Blue Diamond Almonds in Sacramento, with a mission of transforming the traditional agricultural co-op into a globally branded food manufacturer. He moved with his wife, three kids and dog from Minnesota to California.

Phil Ivey's private equity firm Crofton Capital acquired Schylling, a toy company. Schylling is a leading independent toy and gift designer, manufacturer and distributor that offers contemporary versions of classic toys and collectibles, including jack-in-the-boxes, sock monkeys, tin robots and tin vehicles. His oldest two kids are at Tulane, and the youngest is in high school.

In summer 2012, Suzie Rubin moved to Hanover, N.H. Her husband Steve joined the faculty at Tuck University, and Suzie became executive director of Tuck's Healthcare Initiative. Their kids are 13 and 11 now. She has connected with Catherine (Craighead) Briggs and Sally Pofcher since the move, and just missed Joanne Jones when she was passing through.

Mike Schoenle helped Visteon sell its automotive lighting business last year, and is now the corporate controller for Varroc Lighting Systems. Kate Schoenle has been putting her communications, operations and logistics skills to work managing the family and household. They have seven kids, from Joseph, 16, to John, 18 months.

In 2007, Sheryl O'Laughlin co-founded the Nest Collective, now called Plum Inc. Plum, which "nurtures kids from the high chair to the lunch box," sold in May to Campbell's. Sheryl and her husband, Patrick, dreamed of slowing down if the company sold, so she has left her position as executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business to move to Santa Rosa wine country with their children, ages 13 and 10.

Joao Silva lives in Bicesse, Portugal, and works for BES, a Portuguese retail bank. He and his wife Elizabete have two daughters: Carolina, 15, and Teresa, 11. He and his family met up with Jimmy Locke and his children in New York City last December.

Evelyn Armstrong, Will Marks and their family have moved to Barcelona for the year. They welcome any guests.

Ron Sann continues to run a private equity firm that invests in commercial real estate. He lives 20 minutes north of San Francisco with his family. His son just started high school, and his daughter is in sixth grade. Recent family travel includes visits to Greece, Turkey, France, the U.K., Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Central America.

Bruno Larvol has lived in San Francisco since relocating there from New York City in 2000. In 2004, he founded The Larvol Group, which provides business intelligence solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. He and his wife Wan Chi have a 7-year-old boy who enjoys the French American School. He sees classmates in the Bay Area on a regular basis.

Don Johnston joined Eagle Trading Systems Inc. in January as chief marketing officer. Eagle is a $2.7-billion quantitative macro manager based in Princeton, N.J. He still recalls the name of his study group from first quarter core management class, and wonders if anyone else from the group remembers it.

Tom Hession left Merrill Lynch about six years ago to start his own investment management firm, which specializes in municipal bond portfolio management. He lives in Glencoe, Ill., with his wife Missy and their five kids. Their guest room is available to anyone needing a place to stay for the reunion next year.

Paul Stratta is in his first CEO role at an e-bike company, Gocycle, based in London. Backed by private equity, the plan is to launch into the North American market and catch up to the already massive e-bike business in Continental Europe. He lives in London during the work week, and will be commuting to Brussels to see his family until he finishes the initial heavy lifting.

Yves Hanania has been running his own boutique branding and advertising agency, Lighthouse, out of Paris since 2008. Lighthouse focuses on fashion and luxury, and works for several global brands, including Kenzo, OTB, Vertu and Piper Heidsieck. He recently brought his kids Charlène, 16, and Mathis, 13, to Evanston during a trip around the U.S. His wife Irène joined them with their youngest, Lorenz, 4, in Los Angeles.
