Niels Steinert and wife Christine were more than happy to welcome their first child, Julia Sophia, on April 17.

Katharina Arens-Schmidt, Arne Arens and Mats Arens welcomed baby Ole Arens on July 16 at 4,020 grams and 50 cm.

The KW-10 class reunited in July in Switzerland for a hiking weekend in the area of Lake Walensee. The Seerenbachfall, Switzerland's highest waterfall at 305m, was the attraction of the first rainy day, culminating with a "Swiss" barbeque overlooking a sunset over Lake Walensee. The hike on sunny Day 2 took the group to an attractive Alps panoramic viewpoint at Lake Seebensee (1622 m). The participants had traveled from as far away as California.
