Derek Fletcher's wife Lucie gave birth to twins Kyla and Torin on Aug. 20, 2008 in Hong Kong.
The good old stork also visited Philip Lee and his wife Jaime in Hong Kongon Sept. 11, 2008 with the birth of their daughter Meagan.
Simon Jukes has spent over a year in Athens, Greece, as chief executive of international bank HSBC's operations there. This follows three years in London and time in Canada, Bangladesh and Hong Kong with the bank. HSBC has multiple business lines in Greece, with shipping, corporate banking and a premium retail operation, as well as equity brokerage and mutual fund businesses.

On a personal note, Simon lost his wife Debbie to a sudden and short illness on May 1. Simon is starting charitable efforts in her memory, for which he welcomes future support. She is so sorely missed.
In addition to being Sun Microsystems' head of services for Hong Kong and Macau, Betty Lin was appointed adjunct professor in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's dual degree program for engineering and business schools in 2008. She has since participated in enrichment programs such as business plan competitions, student mentorship and graduate recruitment interviews. Her greatest enjoyment with the program has been the joint-school business plan competitions with the University of Illinois.
Andrew Shek joined Standard Chartered Bank in August 2008 to head up its group corporate development team in Asia, focusing on in-house M&As and equity fundraising activities.
In September, Geoff Simms' firm Arghajata Consulting Group formed an exclusive strategic alliance with Booz & Co for the purpose of identifying and developing management consulting opportunities in Indonesia together. They also established a joint venture company, GreenWorksAsia, in 2008 with Climate Change Capital, the largest private carbon fund in the world, to engage in carbon finance and the development of low-carbon projects in Indonesia.
Arghajata Consulting Group was established by Geoff and his partners in Jakarta, Indonesia, four years ago with the goal of building a group of related businesses based upon the shared core values of integrity, trust, teamwork, training and skill development, and supporting and giving back to others. Today they have a team of more than 50 people and growing.
In June, Shirley Tai joined Reckitt Benckiser, an FMCG company based in Slough, U.K., and one of the world's leading manufacturers of cleaning products for household, health and personal care. As the general manager for Hong Kong and Taiwan, she relocated from Shanghai back to her hometown of Hong Kong. Shirley hopes to become a "friend in need" for anyone in the wider Kellogg community who seeks help or advice this flu season.
Scott Wilson was promoted to the head of the European region for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in June 2008. He continues to be based in CIBC's European headquarters in London.
