Bill Collins moved to Morges, Switzerland, to serve as vice president of finance, tax and treasury for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Eaton Corporation.

Susan Perrino and Philip Brewster were married May 30 in Chicago. Several Kellogg alumni were present, including Melissa Mathson Richlen, Harisha Koneru '02, Stacey Nobel Ramstedt '02, Melissa Halac Shields '03 and Natalie Petrie Burkart '06.

Maura Tribble Brescia ’01 and son Miles

   

James Barrett and his wife Dee welcomed their second daughter, Keira Rhys, on April 15.

Maura Tribble Brescia and her husband John welcomed their second son into the world on May 4. Miles John Brescia is very happy and big brother Lucas is thrilled to have him around. Maura was laid off from her role as a marketing department head in October 2008 after disappointing company clinical data. In January, she started her own consulting company, BioCom Consulting, focusing on commercial strategy for life sciences (primarily biotechcompanies). She is thoroughly enjoying the world of consulting, and business is going extremely well. Let her know if you're ever in the Boston area.

Laura and Dan Holton welcomed their fourth child, Layla Grace, to their family on Aug. 4. She joins Eva (6), Jacob (4) and Talullah (2). Dan reports: "Life is going great — chaotic, but great. We live in Evanston, right by the Northwestern football stadium." He works in Lake Forest for Hospira, a healthcare company focusing on injectable pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Dr. Tim van Biesen was named head of Bain & Company's healthcare practice in North America in June. Dr. van Biesen is based in the firm's New York office and advises Bain's clients in the areas of growth, R&D and brand strategy.
