On Sept. 30, the Kellogg Black Management Alumni (KBMA) club welcomed 2005 graduates into the alumni community with a networking reception hosted at the office of the Boston Consulting Group. Jim Corboy, from the Kellogg Office of Alumni Relations, personally welcomed 2005 graduates and other alumni in attendance. The event was truly successful as everyone left excited about the direction and leadership of alumni relations and our club.

The National Black MBA Conference, held in San Diego from Oct. 12 to Oct. 16, provided the club with expanded networking opportunities. We enjoyed dinner, which included a presentation by an executive search firm, at the Coronado Boathouse. Alumni received tips on how to work with these firms. Additionally, Roxanne Hori, assistant dean and director of the Kellogg Career Management Center, hosted a standing-room-only hospitality reception on Oct. 14. Current KBMA alumni, and other diverse alumni from across the country who wanted to reconnect with Kellogg, packed the room.
