John
Anderson
writes, "Actually this is a submission for TWO classes, TMP
1999 and TMP 2004." Born to John Anderson and his wife, Margaret,
and also born to John's brother Alan Anderson TMP 2004 and
his wife, and Pamela TMP 2004, daughters Cara Maria Anderson
on July 8, and Ashley Carol Anderson on July 25, respectively.
These are both first children for each. John says, "We're
happy to announce the birth of our daughters/nieces and pleased
to report that each is happy and healthy. It's nice to know
we'll have each other to lean on as we try our hands at parenthood."
Tracey
Scheppach has been appointed to the newly created
role of vice president/video innovation director at Starcom
USA, a full-service media agency within Starcom MediaVest
Group (SMG). Her primary responsibility will be strategic
and operational oversight of the agency's Video Investment
Group (VIG), charged with investing clients' advertising dollars
across a variety of emerging digital video content points.
Prior to joining Starcom, Scheppach was vice president of
programming and research at OpenTV, a Liberty Media Corporation
subsidiary. Working with Wink, Inc., a pioneer in the interactive
television industry, she helped create interactive branding
campaigns with 60 advertisers — including Procter &
Gamble — on over 100 brands. She oversaw the implementation
of new product development for clients such as General Motors
and Discovery Networks, focusing on future advertising research
and measurement metrics.
