1999
It's
time for reunions and lots of new family news for the class
of '99.
Some
of the 4Q girls had a chance to get together in Austin this
past May for their own "Kellogg Reunion." It was the first
time April Bjornstad, Julie (Sullivan) Owens, Shawna (Gwin) Krasts, Sally Babcock and Kelly Phelps had been together
since graduation.
Additionally,
Sally Babcock was promoted to SVP/general manager of AmericanGreetings.com
so she decided to stay in Cleveland and bought a house. She's
been with American Greetings for six years and is "still having
a blast."
JP
and Krista (Edlund) Gallagher
had a baby girl, Lauren Quinn, on June 6. They love
life with her and, as Krista says, "She's a champion eater
and sleeper, which makes our lives relatively easy."

Other
news on the family front includes: Caty (Supper) Fortuin
who had a baby girl, Abbey, in February and Kelly
(McClenahan) Alpert had a baby girl, Zoe, at the end of June.
Diana
Knapp was married to Rick Ledford on Sept. 4. They
were married in Diana's hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and
headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon.
David
Ain is now working as an executive recruiter —
is he the first? He joined Egon Zehnder International, after
spending a year as VP, corporate development at Indigo Books
& Music, Canada's answer to Barnes & Noble. David
is the 15th Kellogg alum to join Egon Zehnder International,
a global senior executive search firm with 58 offices worldwide.
He's trying to feign objectivity on academic credentials Š
let's see how that goes! Sons Jonah and Jakob are now 1 and
3 years old.
Jodi
(Ginsberg) and Rob Zwiebach are now the parents of two little girls! The latest
addition to their family, Danielle Lily, was born on Sept
11. Big sister Molly seems to be doing really well with her
little sister, which is a huge relief for mom and dad. Rob,
just wait until they're teen-agers!
Keep
the news coming and take care!
