If you are interested in volunteering for your 10th reunion, please call Michelle Brandt at 847.467.1646 or email m-brandt@kellogg.northwestern.edu.

Just a quick note from your class rep before getting to all our class updates. Don't forget that our 10-year reunion is coming up this spring, May 5 – May 7, 2006. Please make plans to be there!

Tim Leland started a new job as principal with Stonebridge Associates, LLC in February. Stonebridge is a private, Boston-based investment bank, which provides a broad range of corporate finance services to middle market and emerging growth companies.

Mark Crumblish recently relocated to Dallas after leaving a very rewarding and enjoyable corporate M&A job. Mark writes: "It was just time to move back into the entrepreneurial world and do my own thing. Now, I'm looking for a business to acquire in the DFW area. Anyone who wants to know more, or who simply wants to network with me, can check my Web site, crumblish.com. I'm also a partner in a very exciting startup in the sports industry and we'll be looking for people soon. I'll provide more details in a few months." Mark and his wife, Sue, have been married for more than 19 years. Their sons, Eamonn (14) and Connor (12), are nationally competitive ice hockey players, and travel all around the country. Their daughter Chandler (11) was the 12-and-under Texas state champion in the 1600 meter run (about one mile), running 5:57 in her first competitive season, exactly four years after being in a coma with West Nile virus while they lived in Florida. Mark writes: "Scholars and athletes, all Š I'm very blessed by all of them."

Katie and John DeSmet would like to announce the birth of their first child, Kristina Cassidy DeSmet, born April 11.

Cory and Mark Jamison moved to Boston last year, had their first child, Haydon, and Mark started a new job with Fidelity Investments as head of strategy and development for Fidelity's retail business. Cory continues to sing (coryjamison.com) and is currently working on her next CD.

Gared Jones writes: "I've been set up in New Delhi now for the last three and a half years. Soon after our five-year reunion (and 9/11) I decided a change of pace from management consulting and the corporate sector was in order. I've been working as a director with Ashoka, innovators for the public in India. Figuring out how to navigate Delhi's 115-degree summers, the nonprofit sector's less-familiar ways, India's mind-boggling diversity — and all within a very simple lifestyle — has brought a wealth of new learning and contentment. I'll probably be here for another year or so before returning to California. I'd love to receive any folks who may be passing through the neighborhood."

Amy and Rob Miller live in Franklin Lakes, N.J. They have two sons, Jake (4) and David (2), and just had a baby girl, Amanda, this summer. Rob is working in private wealth management at Goldman Sachs. He transferred to the group about a year ago from institutional sales.

Kristi and Kurt Plumer attended the 6th Annual Ledgewood Open in July, hosted by Caroline Carey and Jim Langan. The other Kellogian in attendance was Laurie Nash. The Ledgwood Open is a golf tournament and party named after the house that Jim and Caroline bought in Hyde Park, N.Y. Kurt writes: "We had a great time seeing them, but unfortunately had to leave before the band played Sweet Caroline."

Steve Bennett has relocated to Dallas to open a new office for venture capital firm Stonehenge Capital. Steve will manage their new fund, Stonehenge Capital Fund Texas, which invests in Texas-based high-growth companies. Steve joined Stonehenge's predecessor, Banc One Capital, in 1998.
