We completed
activities for 2003-2004 with a CEO speaker event in March
when J. David Nelson '66 spoke about the challenges executives
face while making career changes to nonprofit organization.
David is COO of National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship,
a New York-based nonprofit that trains underprivileged youth
to become entrepreneurs. Activities for 2004-2005 are well
underway. We have already had two events: A family picnic
in September at a private beach in Stamford, and a happy hour
at the Playwright Bar in downtown Stamford as part of Worldwide
Wednesday. A holiday party is scheduled for Dec. 3 and a CEO
speaker series will take place in winter quarter. Please check
the Kellogg Web site and your email for more details, and
remember to update your alumni profile.
