Tribune Publishing,
a division of TribuneCo., has announced that publishing executive
Timothy Kennedy is the newchief operating officer at
Hoy, a newspaper dedicated to covering the Hispanic community.
Tim was named vice president/strategy and development for
Tribune Publishing in January 2001. Since then he has directed
strategic planning for the publishing group and led many business
development efforts for Tribune newspapers, including the
expansion of Hoy into Chicago and Los Angeles. Congratulations,
Tim.
Rich Ganz
and his wife, Elizabeth, have moved to Massachusetts, wherehe
is working at a startup medical device company called Omnisonics,
headquartered in Wilmington (www.omnisonics.com or 978.657.9980,
ext. 340).The couple report they are enjoying living by the
ocean and exploring.
Kar Hensel
has a new job teaching algebra and eighth-grade math at Dilworth
Middle School in Reno, Nev. Thanks for giving back, Kar.
Drew McNally
and his wife, Alison, have two girls under age 2 and are having
fun watching the rugrats grow up.They are still living in
Lincoln Park, andDrew continues to be an active private equity
investor.
Scott Maske's
youngest daughter,Kathryn, is in her freshman year at Miami
of Ohio, and now he and his wife,Deborah,areempty nesters.
Sounds like we need an EMP-40 party at the Maske house.
Joe Novicki
has been promoted to VP of global business development
for the medication delivery business of Baxter Healthcare,
heading up the business development department. Congratulations,
Joe.
Chris Ksoll
worked with Lloyd Shefsky and John Ward at the Kellogg Center
for Family Enterprise for the third straight year to put on
a two-day conference that brings cutting-edge research and
best practices to the closely held family business community.
