Bay Area Kellogg Alumni has increased our activity level. We
held a job hunt panel to assist Bay Area alumni and four social
events. Stay tuned for news this fall on an upcoming speaker
event. We’re hoping to line up marketing guru, Regis McKenna,
to speak on his new book to be published in February.
The plan
for 2002: The Speaker’s Committee hopes to produce four
speaker/learning events in the coming year: one featuring
a Kellogg professor, two highlighting top area execs or other
thought leaders, and one more on managing your career. If
one of your execs is a dynamic speaker or you have topic suggestions,
please contact P.J. Platt at pplatt1997@kellogg.nwu.edu.
Other
initiatives planned for the year include facilitate business
contacts among alumni and between alumni and Kellogg. If you
would like to assist the Bay Area club, please contact me.
