Despite
the fact that people leave New York in the summer for the
somewhat greener pastures of the Hamptons, Nantucket, the
Jersey Shore and points elsewhere, the Kellogg Alumni Club
of New York (KACNY) has been as busy as ever connecting its
alumni with business and social opportunities in the craziest
and best place to live in the world -- New York! We are always
looking for new members as well as alumni that would like
to get involved with the local board of directors. Please
contact Arline Isaacson if you are interested in membership.
She can be reached at 718.645.1725 or via e-mail at kalcny@aol.com.
Or contact Dan Williams if you are interested in getting involved
with the board of directors . Heres just a sample of
what makes being a KACNY member so fantastic.

Strategic Career Mapping in the Current Economy.
Several members of The Strickland Groups executive coaching
group, including Kathy Strickland, the companys CEO,
spoke about the needs and ways to enhance ones personal
and professional life. Registration to the event included
a one-hour individual session with a coach at the firm. The

is interning in a financial position in New York this summer.

and Tuck (Duke) schools of business. Over 175 people enjoyed
cocktails and lively discussion with new friends and old while
watching one of the most beautiful sunsets in New York this
summer. The party was such a hit that crashers came from Harvard,
