Boston
Summer
2001 was hot in New England. KAC-Boston has cooled off in
a few forums.
Kellogg
alums joined Wharton and HBS grads at Maison Robert for a
celebration of Bastille Day. Over 175 b-school grads showed
up to salute the revolution. Thanks to Eileen Chang and Scott
Winslow for helping out at the event and to David Blaszkowsky,
Erik Britt-Webb, Laurie Burkland Waller, James Gardner, Brett
Huff, Jean Johnson, Lori Kalahar, Cory Mann, and Joe Manning
for promoting the event to their friends.
On Aug.
22, Jean Johnson and Sean Walter hosted a KAC picnic at WCRBs
Classical Music night at the Boston Hatch Shell. Who knew
classical music could inspire such fun?
KAC is
now included in bi-monthly job search support and networking
receptions hosted by the London Business School. Attendance
is limited to a relatively small number of people and the
structure of the meeting features guest speakers and supports
active networking.
On Oct.
18, KAC-Boston sponsored a full-day wireless conference at
the Boston Sheraton. This conference featured an outstanding
array of global technology leaders and wireless professionals,
such as Microsoft, Palm, Verizon and Nextel. KAC-Boston received
a discounted entry fee.
