EMP-42

John Angelella accepted an opportunity with a public company, Speizman Industries, as their CFO back in May 2000. In fact, the news of John’s appointment even hit The Wall Street Journal in June 2000! In essence, John operates as the chief operating officer as well as the top person for investor relations. Speizman Industries is a leader in providing innovative capital solutions and value-added services to the North American hosiery/sock market as well as the leading distributor of industrial laundry equipment in the United States. John, his wife Amy and their son CJ are adjusting to life in Charlotte, N.C. John can be contacted at JohnAngelella@aol.com.

In October 2000, Daryl Dulaney was promoted to president of Siemens Building Automation, which operates about 110 offices in North America, achieved revenues of $1.2B with just under 6,000 employees. In addition he is serving on a global board and spends quite a bit of time in Europe. Siemens’ world headquarters are located in Zurich. In his personal life, Daryl’s daughter started college this fall at Indiana University and his son will be in the 8th grade. He has relocated from Indianapolis and is currently building a home in Long Grove, Ill.

Dave Finch, our poor but honest sausage maker in Sheboygan, Wis., and his wife, Beth, celebrated the birth of their third child, Emma Elizabeth, July 11.

Peter Hatchell EMP-42 with daughter Brooke on vacation in Australia.

Another member of EMP-42, Peter Hatchell, remains president and CEO of Hudson Sharp. Peter is still traveling all over the world. His daughter, Brooke, is at the University of Wisconsin, working on being accepted into veterinarian school while Peter’s wife, Diana, is holding the fort down at home (four cats and a parrot). Peter and his family did take a break in the action to go on vacation to Australia earlier this year.

John Kramp is still at LifeWay Church Resources in Tennessee. His assignments continue to change as their organization evolves but it provides him with the opportunity to do work he enjoys while focusing on things he believes matters. His oldest daughter, Courtney, is a senior in high school and has begun her college search.

John Prunkl and his wife, Lisa gave birth to their first son. on June 29. Charles Harland Prunkl weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long with some brown hair. Both baby and Mom are doing great! Charles’ sisters, Lauren and Carolyn, are excited about their new baby brother.

I caught up with Kris Zimmer recently and learned he moved to Louisville, Ky., shortly after graduation to be the CFO of Norton Healthcare. Norton is a mid-sized health system with seven hospitals and 8,500 employees. Kris and his family have enjoyed living in Louisville and he occasionally gets together with another EMP-42 classmate, Bill White. Kris can now be contacted at kris.zimmer@nortonhealthcare.org.
