EMP-40

As usual, lots is happening to our group: Dave Bungum has accepted the vice president of marketing and sales development at Tranzact Technologies Inc., a $50 million company that does freight payment outsourcing and logistics software development. Congratulations Dave! Now, how about a case study on your old company, for those new EMPers?

Scott Flowers had a great time at the EMP-40 golf outing, but he also proved to be the only one whose game was not improved by using the Ping Volkswagen on a stick driver...and he owns it.

Rich Daly has volunteered Ben’s new home for a group party. Thanks, Rich. Rich was also promoted to senior vice president for marketing at Takeda, and has added global responsibilities. Way to go, Rich.

Rom Nowacki’s new e-mail address is rnowacki1998@kellogg.nwu.edu

Efrem “Z” Stringfellow’s new home office number is 708.748.2029 and his e-mail address is efstring@aol.com

John Mitchell still lives in Phoenix, but now works for Openwave (formerly phone.com). He manages their worldwide channel sales. His office number is 650.817.7293. Glad to have you back, John.

Mike Matella has been promoted to managing partner for the human performance and eLearning service line for the central region at Accenture. Congratulations, Mike!

Rich Ganz is a dad. Sarah was born July 11, and to pay for all the diapers, Rich has been promoted to president, Remal North America at Baxter. Double congrats, Rich

Vance Lancaster, on his journey around America, now is a vice president of marketing, based in Ann Arbor, Mich. Oh Vance, that’s close enough to visit us again.

Zoe Larkin has moved to someplace in Colorado — but we don’t know where.

If anyone wants to know why Chris was not at the Golf outing, please ask Dave P. Luv ya, Dave.

Ken Willis is the new vice president of business development at QTG. That’s the new acronym for Quaker Tropicana Gatorade. Is it starting to sound like a law firm? Hmm. Ken is in charge of “Go TO Market” operations, including co-marketing, new item commercialization, category management, customer strategic/operating plan development and trade P&L’s. Way to go, Skippy!

Judy Buckley has moved to China for the State Dept. And you know that’s all you’re gonna get.
