Litwin reports that he is doing world-class database marketing
at SmartSource Direct. Last summer, he helped launch ASPen
Data Services, a CRM suite of tools for data-mining and campaign
development for retailers with frequent-shopper card programs.
It is the first such Internet program that can work with the
massive databases of food and drug chains. ASPen is being
beta-tested with a major East Coast drugstore chain, and has
several major grocers lined up for future launches.
