Practical
Leadership Guide published
The Kellogg
Practical Leadership Guide is a series of articles that
draws on the latest research and practical insights of many
top Kellogg School faculty, written to provide valuable frameworks
for managers. Articles on a range of topics, including leadership
and strategy, planning and organization, and execution and
operations are available on the Alumni
Web site.
The introductory
article in the series, "Personal Reflections on Leadership,"
by adjunct professor Harry
Kraemer, introduces key components of a "value-based leader."
With additional topics such as hiring and firing executives,
delegating responsibilities and improving process performance,
alums should find the series stimulating and useful.
The series
is made possible by Kellogg Faculty, the Office of Development
and Alumni Relations, and students Sam Mehta '05, Gordon Hilbun,
Adeel Kheiri and Parth Mehrotra (all Class of 2006), with
the support of the Office of the Dean and the Business Leadership
Club. |
